We are currently completing the post production on our latest short film “Spot”. A dark modern fairy tale, it stars Smari Gunn and newcomer Christina Ulfsparre. Filmed in Kentish woodlands during August, Spot is expected to be released mid October.

Infonation in association with Big Tree have just completed a series of twenty two comedy short films with comedian John Moloney, under the generic title of Joke of the Day. Moloney, well know for his one man show and appearance on BBC’s Grumpy Old Men, delivers a hilarious selection of classic jokes in his own inimitable deadpan style. The films are to play on a dedicated YouTube Channel and be available for mobile download.
Infonation/Big Tree are developing a feature based on the successful burlesque review BurleXe. The project, destined for theatrical release, also includes a major documentary on burlesque and plans for a live tour.
Big Tree/Infonation have produced a series of comedy videos under the generic title, Hot Science. Written, and directed by Michael Blythe, each film consists of a comic monologue given by unlikely female characters on aspects of esoteric science. The series was produced exclusively for the internet and has been launched on a number of video sites including Blip TV, Vimeo and with a dedicated channel on You Tube. The series is Big Tree/Infonation’s first venture into dedicated on-line content and more projects are in the pipeline.
Infonation/Big Tree have launched a nationwide amateur burlesque competition, entitled Burlesque Showgirl 2012. The competition, which begins it life on the internet is intended to develop into a six part television series. We are now in the process of filming auditions and have also established a video up-load facility to enable would-be competitors to post their own auditions to our website and associated YouTube Channel.
Infonation has established a joint venture with Big Tree Productions to develop factual entertainment and drama projects. The new venture will allow both companies to benefit from individual areas of expertise. Big Tree Productions MD Simon Wright was formerly the Head of Working Title Television, before setting up his own production company two years ago. Big Tree have an established track record in comedy and feature film production. Projects from the new venture will be produced under the Big Tree label and produced by Infonation MD Michael Blythe.
Britain: The Big Picture, Infonation Media’s interactive DVD guide to feature film production in the UK, has won the DVD Europa Award for 2000. This pioneering DVD, was the first of its kind produced in the UK and is aimed at film industry professionals. Britain: The Big Picture contains 23 individual documentary guides to all aspects of feature film production and is introduced by Prime Minister Tony Blair. The Big Picture also has contributions from over 100 film industry professionals, including George Lucas, Alan Parker, Tony Scott, Sir Richard Attenborough, and Anthony Minghella.
